Recent Upgrades / Factory Enhancements (Ransohoff In-House):
This unit was recently serviced and upgraded in-house at Ransohoff, including the addition of a new PLC control system, new ultrasonics, and a fresh water line rinse-to-drain system.
Line Rinse to Drain System:
The machine is equipped with a fresh water line rinse feature designed to improve final part cleanliness following the spray wash cycle and prior to blow-off drying. This system includes:
Dedicated spray assembly for fresh water rinse
Manual valve and normally closed solenoid valve for automatic on/off control
Pneumatically operated divert drain assembly to direct rinse water to drain
The rinse cycle duration is adjustable via timer, allowing control over water usage and process effectiveness. Spent rinse water is discharged to drain, helping reduce contamination carryover and improving overall cleanliness of processed parts.
The LeanJet RB-2 immersion cleaning system is a compact, high-performance batch parts washer designed to process two (2) baskets per cycle, with throughput of up to twenty (20) baskets per hour. Engineered for integration into a work cell or smaller production environment, the RB-2 utilizes a patented triple-action cleaning process combining:
Agitation
Spray impingement
Rotation
Hydraulic purging through immersion
Rinse cycle
Heated blow-off drying
This process is highly effective for cleaning complex parts with internal bores and passages.
The unit is a fully enclosed, self-ventilating system, minimizing operator exposure to vapors and mist common in open cleaning systems.
